the value of forgiveness

Have you been treated badly?
Has someone made you cry you can't breathe properly?
Had your heart been broken, torned and crushed? (hehe over)

Had you sworn not to forgive someone? I hope not. Please consider the following verse:

"For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins (Matthew 6:14, 15, NIV).

True that some may have caused you great pain.
True that the graveness of their offense may have been ocean deep.
But who are we not to forgive?

Know that if the measurement of forgiveness is based on the gravity of the sin we've done, we may not be qualified to ask for forgiveness from our Heavenly Father.

Therefore friends, we ought to forgive.
