Welcome 2009

Cheers to 09 =)
This year would definitely be a year to remember because nyemnyem’s life will surely change, as if it hasn’t yet. Come join me as I try to enumerate what I expect from myself this year as I “Embrace Change and Enjoy Life”, this year of 2009.
On Love: We’ve got to be more patient and more considerate to each other as we create our new family together. Celebrate our first year to the max.
On Family: Learn to cook at least 3 dishes this year, something that I can make the whole world taste. (Easy yan for some pero effort yan para sa kin) Greet family on their birthdays and party with them on Christmas.
On Thea: To help her discover her own personality, t o cuddle her, to sing for her, to shower her with love, to play with her, to celebrate each birthday – as in day, to keep an eye to each development she makes and the list goes on.
On Finances: Budget family’s finances, to save, save, save. To find a way to make money out of those savings.
On Self: To read a lot. To keep myself cool through a challenging year ahead of me. Hope I’ll be able to find more time to blog, I”ll make a post out of it if I have time hehhehe. For now google what colic means =)
On Church: To find a Christian community in Brunei
It is not the strongest specie that surivived,it is the one that has to ability to adopt to change. Alam nyo ba ung story ng dinosaurs and cockroaches? Dinos became extinct because they werent able to adopt to change in climate. But the cockroaches did despite their size. May we all learn to adopt to changes like cockroaches. May we all weather any storm that may pass this year.

This year's theme: Embrace Changes. Enjoy Life. Have a happy 2009 everyone!!!

Happy birthday Sweetheart!!!

Today is Thea’s 3rd month birthday!!! Happy happy birthday sweetheart =* Mommy and Daddy loves you so much.

This girl is the reason why I seldom blog nowadays. We now call her Pops, the concert queen, as she wails in an intensity 10 cry usually at around 7 to 8pm. Her daily stunt may drain mommy’s energy but no cares I love love love love her. See her 3mos pics here http://embiology.multiply.com/photos/album/5/Thea_turns_3_months

adieu 2008

here's 08 end survey!

What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Got married and gave birth! Two things that made 2008 a year to remember!

Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I did, most of it esp sa love part hehe! http://i-am-me-nyem.blogspot.com/2008/01/things-to-do-in-2008-aka-reconstructed.html
Love – I did get married, though earlier than expected, May 18. And yes,the tiny new member of the family arrived last October 30.

Family – I had more bonding time with them since I took several leave this year. 1st was last May when I got married, October when I was still preggo, then November to December when I gave birth.

Church - I failed here big time, so sorry Lord. After I got married, I resigned in my Auditing work at church. Because, one I am pregnant that time and two I dont want the younger girls in the church to view my premature pregnancy to be okay.
I told our pastor that the girls need to see that I am reprimanded in some way. I was touched by what Ptr. Bert told me " Though I am sad that you are impatient I am still happy for you because I know that the baby inside you is a blessing." I have been too scared to tell him that I am pregnant and that I need to resign. Turned out, I underestimated him. (Apparently, no one at church except some family members knew I was 3 mos pregnant when I got married.)

Sa school I got 4 (the highest grade at LaSalle) for the last 2 subjects I enrolled, after which I took a leave na.

Office – there was this excel seminar and the financial modelling team that made my last year in EDC a challenging one.
