What did you do in 2012 that you'd never done before?
Gave birth to a beautiful baby boy!

Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Haha I don’t think I wrote one last January. But I did made some mental note on what needed to be done for 2012.

Udette – to now chubby Eumie

Did anyone close to you die?
None. But the phone that Im currently using dies everytime haha(yung htc yun now using Samsung S3)

What countries did you visit?
Was restricted to fly because I was pregnant but I will next year woot woot!!!

What would you like to have in 2013 that you lacked in 2012?
I want to think I didn’t lack anything this year so I hope next year would be extra great too!!

What date from 2012 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Nov 2 – I gave birth to the most cutesy boy on earth!!!

Oct 17 – Thieves got inside the house even room

What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Giving birth the natural way, no epid no sedation.

What was your biggest failure?
Times that I lost patience are the biggest failure of all.

Did you suffer illness or injury?
None. But I had a series of UTI during my pregnancy that made me sooo praning because I needed to drink antibacterial for it. Scary really.

Thea’s urine culture showed she has Pseudomanas Aerigunosa and that made me panic big time.

What was the best thing you bought?
My favorite gadget so far – my electric breastpump!!!

Whose behavior merited celebration?
My girl, his dad, my lil boy!

Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
A woman who lied to us and took her child’s life by drinking something.

Where did most of your money go?
School aaay kamahal pala magpaaral!!!

What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Thea’s first day at Stella.

Caleb’s birth!

Alvin’s vacation uhhm monthly visit hehe.

i. happier or sadder? happier as always
ii. thinner or fatter? Thinner woohoo thanks to Caleb kaso anak ko naman tumataba sobra (60.7kg achieve!!!)
iii. richer or poorer? Richer!

What do you wish you'd done more?
Go to different places. Read more books. Visit more friends. Gain new friends. Save more. And year after year I wish I did exercise more hahaha.

What was your favorite TV program?
Jr. Masterchef  then US Masterchef. And recently I got hooked with this Koreanovela “A Gentleman’s Dignity” as I find it cute and funny!

Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Hate is a very strong word. But I have someone I’d rather not see muna.

What was the best book you read?
Hunger Games series I was able to read this year, it was intense and a little political pero good pa rin - stimulating. I also like the book written by a Filipina is that Happily Ever After?

What was your greatest musical discovery?
We are loving the acoustic duets and acoustic princess we heard at Figaro. End up gifting my husband with the duets but we lost it kasi Thea played with It hehe.

What did you want and get?
Selling our cedar crest unit! We wanted that badly and we were able to sell it before Christmastime.

Having given birth via normal delivery is something I really wanted to do too. As caesarian delivery scares me and it will take too much time to recover.

Pwede ba isali ang extension ni Alvin??? Now we can go to the Abode of Peace this summer!

What was your favorite film of this year?
Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2. Hunger Games. Avenger.

Pero best ang Ocean’s Heaven ni Jet Li.

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Turned 33. Had prettifying done and ate out at Shakeys with Thea and the girls.

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
motto: no regrets ;)

How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2012?
Preggy clothes! Stretchy pants and after I gave birth naman add the nursing tops hehe. Just want to add even if you’re not asking that I was able to get to wear my jeans 5 weeks after I gave birth BOW!!!

What kept you sane?
Caleb. Thea. Alvin. (no particular order nyaha)
Nawies also played a great role hehe. Most of my kwento to my husband is about N@w J

Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Cant think of 1 eh.

What political issue stirred you the most?
Don’t like politics much. Sorry.

Who did you miss?
My husband but he goes home naman almost monthly so okay naman because not most OFW family has that opportunity.

Who was the best new person you met?
CALEB hehe. Bias ako eh.

Lock doors and be proactive, you never know when bad people comes. – October 17

It takes someone great to be a mom – November 2

Keep your friends close. They say enemies should be closer kaso ayaw ko ng nega so I try to stay away.

The most touching experience you've had this year?
Caleb giving me a sweet smile after I nursed him #suhol!

What did you like most about yourself this year?
I like it when I try to push myself even if it hurts, errr breastfeeding the first week was sooo hard I felt like I was in labor.

I like it when I make time to play with Thea and be a playmate Mama.

What did you hate most about yourself this year?
I really dont like it when I get stressed out to please someone then all I achieve is stressing that someone too. Got to learn to relax and know that I am not a superhuman.

Was 2012 a good year for you?
Definitely! The good always outweighs the bad. God has been very gracious to us. He has been helping us be good parents to our children.

When Alvin goes home from Brunei and when I gave birth to my son.

October 17. Wag na maulit please.

Spent too much on gadgets and internet connection I guess, how much I don’t count na kainis eh but at least it made communication easier so okay na din!!! VIBER is the best J

No epidural! Wala wala!

What was your most embarrassing moment of 2012?
there were 3 nurses assisting my OB two of them were males would that count?

If you could go back in time to any moment of 2012 and change something, what would it be?

What are your plans for 2013?
Continue breastfeeding Caleb.

Playdates with thea – take her every other month to Marquee or a park that she would like.

Bake a mouth watering new recipe cake!

Flower business this February – if I could still manage.

Beach this April o kaya Empire!

Investment for Thea and Caleb.

Enroll and learn cake decorating.

Ace water spa for Thea.

Kung kaya Montero sana for Alvin haaaay baka singilin ako ng asawa ko ah.

SSS and HMO for the whole family.

Send a worker’s child to school.

I want a mani-pedi, spa business sana in the future kahit hindi 2013.

How are you different now that the year has ended?
I am more happy what with the new addition to our family.

I am more relaxed knowing God takes good care of us. Especially Thea and Caleb’s future. I know that God will provide and that He’ll walk and guide us through.

I am more comfortable, thanks to people who taught me how to value money and life. We know how
to save but we also know how to live our lives.

I am braver, stronger and wiser.

What are your wishes for the new year?

I hope that God will grant the desires of our hearts this year. That Ate Thea will achieve and reach great milestones. That Caleb will grow strong, happy and mabait na baby each day. That Alvin continue to grow in his field. That I may find happiness in all the things I do.

May we breathe in peace in every sunrise. May we find warmth in the daylight.  May we be inspired to try new things with the sight of the sunset. May we dream of great things to do during night time. May we all learn to live each of our days to the fullest.
