1. Last weeek Glorietta II had a blast which damaged the 2nd quad of the mall. It killed 11 innocent lives and injure more than a hundred more. How sad that up to now there is still no news about how it happened, why i happened or who is responsible for such a big blast. I hope the bereaved loved ones are alright and those injured are recovering fast.
2. ERAP got an executive clemency from President Arroyo. The one who had pursued his impeachment years back. Ironic? What does this mean to our poor Philippines? So where's justice? Does this mean, that if you're rich and have connections youre free to do all the things you want. The president will forgive you anyway. haaaay
3. And very unexpectedly, I have found my way back into love =), with my very owm lovieduds! hehehe. And masaya ko, hope you are too. =) =) =)

My Men
This entry is about the men I encountered (will encounter) this week:
Men number 1. “Men” here doesn’t mean the opposite of women, what I meant was my monthly menstruation which drives me crazy and makes my tummy unbelievably painful. Unbelievable, believe it! Haha, parang Dean Cain no? Believe it or not!
Men number 2. Now “Men” refers to a men’s book called “How to heal a broken heart” by Nelson Dy. Ive finished reading it and came out a pretty good book for men and women alike. But, syemps, when it is intended for men it will be more appreciated by men.
Men number 3. In the blue corner is Jonas Marcelo (Atenean). In the green corner is Alvin Guce (Lasallian yata). These guys are my classmates and they were debating “in writing” via our financial economics yahoo groups about when to take our exam. Huwaaat? The other said “You were defending your argument with gusto” the other replied “I was not, better read the transcript” (not the exact words though, emphasis mine) How petty huh? But we did feel the tension in class last night when we were asked to decide upon the date. The neutral people, us, are like what will these two say? Apparently they did not say a thing. It’s a boy thing =P Mak, if they google their names can they find a link to this blog? Hope not. Ooooh, btw Pacquiao won over Barrera hehe. Not related but somehow I felt that was boxing in writing!
Man number 4. Tatay. Not that he ranks number 4 syempre lagi priority ang tatay ko no. However the intensity here is different. Last Sunday, while watching boxing he began telling his “you’re too noisy I cant appreciate what im watching” monologue. So ate la told him to just go upstairs and watch from there. He gave up and went upstairs. Minutes later he went down again telling my mom, watching from the bedroom was boring. He might as well watch it downstairs where the kiddos were. Huwaaat??? These are the things I don’t get yet love about this man.
Man number 5. (Again ranking here doesn’t equate to preference, ayt?) Someone’s coming over here from a 3-week hiatus to another country. He’ll probably be here for 4 days only but its pretty great to have him around than wait for Christmas and ask Santa to hand him to me, hehe. Anyway, this makes me extra happy! Ayiy!

Two things to add on my “know about me” during this period:
My nose is humunoultramicroscopicstinkykilikiliconiosis. As in, sobra naaamoy ko kahit malayo. Hindi sa kin yun kasi immune na ko sa amoy ko hahaha. Even sweat annoys me. Grabe, ayaw ko ng malagkit eeeew.
Volatility is the term. Thought only stocks and foreign exchanges are volatile. Meet me during this period and you’ll know the meaning of volatility in motion. I cried while watching Hwang Jini. Mushy, wawawa.

Lessons learned from the book:
Accept the pain and heartbreak. And make it move you closer to God.
Let go. Let God turn the page.

Joyride to Marilao
Last night, the FX I rode broke down in the middle of NLEX. Huwat? As in patrol men are behind us to see if we were ok. Then they told the driver he better take the Marilao exit to avoid accidents. Turned out that the breaks are not working properly. Huwaat again? Hehe. Pero I was not really hype about the matter. Ewan, hindi lang siguro talaga ko selosa este nerbyosa pala.
The first time it broke down was right in the middle of the highway. (Actually, I did smell something burning but I chose not to say it, turned out it was a bad choice.) NLEX patrol asked manong if everything is alright. Well Manong said yes, in fear of being towed hehe. Manong is stressed, what can you expect? He became more when patrolmen now in cars started following us. After which the driver started driving slow, then slower then slooooower then uggggh we were at the corner already it stopped. We can smell smoke from under. Nyahaha.
Manong, full of pawis hehe, went under the car with his tools which cured it a bit and then he drove it in safe mode to Marilao. Promising us passengers that he will take us to another FX. The drive to Mac Arthur was super long, I thought it will take forever till we reached the nearest terminal (we were like running 1km/hour). But when it rains it pours, duh. There was no FX left to service us. Passengers, excluding me and my seatmate in the front seat, are now blaming Manong. Poor poor Manong. “Pano na kami makakarating nyan?” “Gabi na?” “Mahinang dumiskarte” etc etc.
Moi texted Ate La and Vhin to ask for prayers that we may be safe. But I didn’t know they cared for me that big until last night. I received 8 phone calls yata last night from them checking if I was all right! Ayiy! Sweet no?
Eto naman ang text ng ate ko nung sinabi ko na nasa Marilao na at walang ibang FX:
Btw, we ended up in a van stationed at SM Marilao which took us to MRT. I got home/bh 10pm, which is still ok.
Well, thank you Lord for bringing us to safety and thank you to friends and family who make me feel special, say very special!!!

the value of forgiveness
Have you been treated badly?
Has someone made you cry you can't breathe properly?
Had your heart been broken, torned and crushed? (hehe over)
Had you sworn not to forgive someone? I hope not. Please consider the following verse:
True that some may have caused you great pain.
True that the graveness of their offense may have been ocean deep.
But who are we not to forgive?
Know that if the measurement of forgiveness is based on the gravity of the sin we've done, we may not be qualified to ask for forgiveness from our Heavenly Father.
Therefore friends, we ought to forgive.

"For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins (Matthew 6:14, 15, NIV).
